Chuck Clark's Underrated Style Making Waves With Jets

Chuck Clark may not be Aaron Rodgers, but like the four-time NFL MVP, suffered an injury before he could prove himself worthy of being a member of the New York Jets.

After tearing his ACL on the final day of OTAs, Clark has fought tooth and nail to get back on the field as quickly as possible. By returning to the Jets, the former Baltimore Raven also got the opportunity to excel with his newish team.

And to this point, he is thriving. Clark has recorded over 20 tackles, a sack, and a fumble forced/recovered over the team's first three games to this point.

His play alone has not gone unnoticed by the Jets coaching staff. Especially with head coach Robert Saleh.

"He's not the quarterback, but hadn't played football in over a year, had a significant lower leg injury, so there's a comfort and mental barrier he's got to get through," Saleh explained. "He still needs to get his legs underneath him, and with each passing week he's gotten better, so fully expecting him to get better as the weeks go on, but it's good to see him having some production."

As Clark continues to get back to full strength from his ACL injury, the Jets know their safety room is as talented and dependable as they have been in recent years.
