Colorado head coach Deion Sanders has never been one to hold back, and ahead of the Buffaloes’ highly anticipated matchup against UCF, he offered some candid thoughts on the influx of recruits visiting Orlando this weekend. For Sanders, it's clear that Colorado is a big draw.

“A lot of recruits that really want to see us, they'll do a sign-up to go to the game on behalf of an opposing team," Sanders shared in a recent interview. "It'll be a tremendous amount of recruits. I guarantee they'll have their biggest recruiting weekend this weekend."

Coach Prime’s prediction appears to be right on the money. UCF is expecting over 100 recruits, many of whom are elite prospects. While UCF’s head coach Gus Malzahn has been building a solid program, Sanders' belief is that Colorado’s presence is boosting UCF’s recruiting weekend. As Sanders noted, the attention around the Buffaloes is hard to ignore, and it may be Colorado’s high-powered resurgence that’s attracting so much interest.

Sanders has made it clear that Florida is a key area for Colorado's recruiting strategy. About one-third of his current roster hails from the Florida-Georgia region. "Every recruit in Florida is gonna be on that sideline," Sanders added, highlighting his focus on continuing to build a talent pipeline from the Sunshine State to Boulder.

For both teams, this game is an opportunity to impress recruits and secure future commitments. Coach Prime’s confidence in his program’s influence shows just how much Colorado has changed the landscape of college football this season.

Now, the question is: Can Sanders back up his bold predictions with another big win on the road? Only time will tell.
