ESPN's flagship college football pregame show, "College GameDay," has been hosted by the Alabama Crimson Tide 20 times, making them the second-most frequent hosts of the event. Leading in this statistic are the Ohio State Buckeyes, who have hosted the show 23 times.

In Week 5, No. 4 Alabama had the opportunity to host again before its matchup with the No. 2 Georgia Bulldogs. Adding to the excitement was the presence of the celebrity guest picker, Miss Terry, the wife of former Bama and now "College GameDay" analyst Nick Saban.

One tradition of "College GameDay" is the signs that fans make and bring into the surrounding area in hopes of appearing on ESPN. A picture of a particular fan went viral for the sign he made that read, "My wife is having a baby, but I choose to be here. Roll Tide!"

The sign indeed showed what makes college football unique. There are few things that diehard fans would choose over college football. It seems like some would prefer to miss their child's birth in some cases.

However, not everyone thought that the Alabama fan should have missed the birth of his child for the game. Fans asked questions about the status of the marriage after the sign went viral.

Some credited the fan for his dedication to college football.

    "Insane dedication," one person said.

The SEC phrase "It just means more" was used to describe the fan's dedication.

"It just means more!" a Texas A&M Aggies fan said.

While some fans disagreed with the fan's priorities, others noted that the baby would still be there after the game.

"The baby will still be there after the game." one fan said.

Another fan was thinking ahead. He joked about what would happen if the child Googled their father's name in the future.

"Can't wait till that kid googles his dad's name in about 15 years and finds that pic," they said. "Surely won't cause any emotions."

Some fans tried to give him the benefit of the doubt, but they realized that the Alabama fan may not have been joking.

I hope it’s just a sign and not true, but something tells me it’s 100% factual, sadly." one fan said.

Another fan pointed out how funny and absurd the sign was.

"So much wrong with this, but funny as hell!" they said.

Some wondered why the fan decided to boast about that on national television.

    "Interesting flex." one fan said.

Fans joked that his wife would soon be his ex-wife, and a fan corrected the sign for the Alabama fan.

"My Ex-Wife," one fan joked. "There, fixed it for him.

Georgia enters the game as a one-point favorite vs. Alabama. Kickoff is at 7:30 p.m. ET on ABC.
