In Week 4's slate of the 2024 NFL season, the Green Bay Packers (2-1) will host the surprisingly undefeated Minnesota Vikings (3-0) for their first divisional game of the year on Sunday at 1:00 p.m. ET.

In Green Bay's opening game against the Philadelphia Eagles in Brazil, quarterback Jordan Love suffered a sprained MCL that sidelined him for Weeks 2 and 3. However, with backup Malik Willis running the show, the Packers found a way to go 2-0 during those games.

But on Saturday, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport revealed that Love is expected to return against the Vikings.

"He’s back," Rapoport wrote on X. "Packers QB Jordan Love is expected to return to the lineup against the Vikings, three weeks after spraining his MCL."

Love's initial timetable to return following the injury was 3-6 weeks. He found a way to heal up quickly and return sooner rather than later.

In his first season as the Packers starter in 2023, Love proved that he very well could be the quarterback of the future. He completed 64.2% of his passes for 4,159 yards, 32 touchdowns and 11 interceptions while adding four scores on the ground.

Green Bay just made it into the NFL playoffs as the No. 7 seed, but it upset the No. 2 Dallas Cowboys on the road in the Wild Card round.

For his performance last season, the former Utah State star earned a four-year, $220M contract extension in the offseason. Even with Willis leading Green Bay to two wins, Love will be a big upgrade for coach Matt LaFleur.
