Ryan Williams' Unexpected Message on His Eye-Black is Going Viral in Alabama-Georgia

College football fans all had their eyes on the meeting between the No. 2 Georgia Bulldogs and the No. 4 Alabama Crimson Tide on Saturday, but the game between SEC powers certainly hasn't played out as many expected.

The oddsmakers had Georgia favored by less than a point heading into the game but were quickly proven to be mistaken. Alabama went up 21-0 in the first quarter and haven't looked back.

While the beatdown is a massive story, fans also have been deeply perplexed and intrigued by the message that Alabama's freshman receiver Ryan Williams has on his eye-black. While it may have been relatively unnoticed throughout the game, a close-up of Williams towards the end of the third quarter revealed that he has the phrase "kill everybody" written on his eye-black.

As one could imagine, the intense message has drawn mixed reviews on social media.

"His talent is incredible, but Ryan Williams’ choice of eye black message is…very very odd. Cameras showed it for almost a full minute and they never acknowledged it," wrote one fan.

"Why does Ryan Williams's eye black tape say “kill everybody, “" asked another.

"Ryan Williams's eye black is in poor taste," chimed in another.

"Ryan Williams with the “KILL EVERYBODY” eye black goes hard AF," wrote another fan.

It's unclear what inspired the message, but Williams has been killing defenses all season long and is doing so again on Saturday. With around 10 minutes remaining in the game, Williams had already racked up five catches for 102 yards.

Coming into Saturday's game, Williams led the team in all receiving categories, racking up 10 catches for 285 yards and four scores through Alabama's first three games.

Whether or not he will continue to sport the intense eye-black message is yet to be determined.

Geat Player but obviously No class and something I would expect a true thug! Mr. Williams you have a growing fan base and yes I too am a fan, but that is not only a message that shows no class it's also definitely not a message I would want my 8yr old son to hear! Your in the big spot light now have some respect, show some class, and be a true leader!
