College football's premier matchup of Week 5 between the Georgia Bulldogs and Alabama Crimson Tide was a wave of emotions for fans on Saturday night.

No. 2-ranked Georgia found themselves trailing No. 4-ranked Alabama by four touchdowns just minutes into the second quarter in Tuscaloosa.

Right after the Crimson Tide opened the lead to 27-0 via a Jalen Milroe 36-yard rushing touchdown, Alabama's former head coach, Nick Saban, was captured on ESPN's broadcast with an unamused reaction as he watched from a suite.

The photo was posted by SportsCenter to its 43 million followers and has been viewed over a half-million times on X.

"Never change Nick Saban. Never change," one fan commented .

"He fed up with them boys celebrating on the side line 😂" another added .

Saban, 72, stepped away from Alabama this offseason after 17 years at the helm from 2007-23. He led the Tide to six national championships (seven total) during his tenure, most recently in 2020.

He's now a co-host on ESPN's popular "College GameDay" program, which was live from Tuscaloosa on Saturday. Saban's wife, Ms. Terry, was the show's celebrity guest picker and, unsurprisingly, both predicted Alabama to win the game .

After trailing 30-7 at the half, Georgia mounted a fierce second-half comeback to take the lead 34-33 with 2:31 remaining before Alabama scored a 75-yard touchdown on the next play from scrimmage.

An end zone interception thrown by Georgia quarterback Carson Beck with under a minute to play sealed the 41-34 win for Saban's former team.
