Alabama's Two-Word Post After Georgia Game Should Worry College Football Fans

The No. 4 Alabama Crimson Tide shared a two-word post after their 41-34 victory on Saturday night over the No. 2 Georgia Bulldogs.

What was a highly anticipated matchup between two of college football's best ended up being yet another instant classic.

The Crimson Tide took a 28-0 lead early in the second quarter, but Georgia stormed back and outscored Alabama 27-11 in the second half to make it a game.

Georgia would pull in front, 34-33, with two minutes and 40 seconds remaining in the game. On the very next offensive play for Alabama, wide receiver Ryan Williams scored a 75-yard touchdown to reclaim the lead and secure the win.

After the game, the Alabama athletic department used two words to describe the win.

    "Still Bama," it wrote.

Nick Saban won six national championships in 17 seasons as head coach of the Crimson Tide. After retiring this past offseason, the keys to the most successful college football program in America were handed over to Kalen DeBoer, who left his job with the Washington Huskies to come to Tuscaloosa.

Many fans thought Alabama's on-field performance would drop off at least slightly under its new head coach in year No. 1.

However, after DeBoer's team started 4-0 with a statement win over Kirby Smart and the second-ranked Georgia Bulldogs, it's clear they're still the premier program in college football. Other teams will continue to fear the Tide.

Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe had a day against the Bulldogs. He threw for 374 passing yards with two touchdowns and an interception, while also making a big impact on the ground, rushing for 117 yards and two touchdowns.

"Alabama is still Alabama," posted UGA Football Live.

In Week 6, Alabama will hit the road to face the Vanderbilt Commodores. The Crimson Tide will look to improve their record to 5-0 in that one.

Kickoff next Saturday is scheduled for 4:15 p.m. ET on SEC Network.
