Calls Mount for Terry Bradshaw to Retire Following Sunday Broadcast Performance

It feels like a rarity when Fox NFL analyst Terry Bradshaw makes it through a Sunday broadcast without offending someone or having a painfully cringeworthy moment.

It was no different this week as Bradshaw took some heat on social media after a painfully awkward day in the studio.

First, he tried his hand at an uncomfortably off-base Carolina accent during a pre-game breakdown of Sunday’s Panthers-Bengals matchup, and then he labored through a halftime highlight segment where he ran through halftime scores from around the NFL.

While many used to find Bradshaw amusing and entertaining, it seems the modern NFL fan either doesn’t appreciate his antics or his delivery simply misses the mark, which is why there was a growing number of people calling for Bradshaw to retire from being a studio analyst on social media on Sunday.

“@NFLonFOX it might be time to take ol Terry Bradshaw out to the field…he’s losing it before our very eyes,” one fan declared .

“Terry Bradshaw I’m so sorry but I can’t even understand you anymore please leave the studio man,” a second commented .

“I just aged 10 years listening to Terry Bradshaw ramble through highlights around the league,” another remarked .

“Terry Bradshaw STFU and retire your mouth is too big for any size TV,” one user exclaimed .

“Why is Terry Bradshaw still on TV?” another asked.

A four-time Super Bowl champion, Bradshaw has been with Fox since 1994, working as an analyst for “Fox NFL Sunday,” where he sometimes hosts two semi-regular segments — “Ten Yards with TB,” a rapid-fire question-and-answer bit with an NFL player, and “The Terry Awards,” which is an annual comedy awards show where he honors certain NFL players.
