Raiders Cornerback Jack Jones Benched After Business Decision Comments

After the Las Vegas Raiders' embarrassing home loss at the hands of the Carolina Panthers last week, head coach Antonio Pierce criticized his players for making "business decisions" on the field and not giving 100% effort. He also hinted at making "business decisions" of his own.

It became clear what the head coach meant on Sunday as starting cornerback Jack Jones remained on the bench as the Raiders' defense took the field against the Cleveland Browns. Pierce opted to give other players an opportunity at the beginning of the game.

However, Jones is now on the field for the Raiders after one quarter on the sidelines. He was part of the defensive effort to force a three-and-out at the beginning of the second quarter.

The Raiders need all of their top players to come through today with wide receiver Davante Adams and edge rusher Maxx Crosby sidelined, and Jones could be a big part of a bounce-back effort for Las Vegas.
