There's a lot of concern right now surrounding Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice, who was forced to exit Sunday's, 17-10, win over the Los Angeles Chargers in the first quarter. This is after Rice took a hard hit on his right knee from Chiefs star quarterback Patrick Mahomes as the latter attempted an ill-advised tackle.

There is a slow-motion video of the incident that is currently making its rounds on social media, and, unfortunately, it does not look good at all. So much so, that the angle of the exact moment Rice injured his knee has left more than a few fans seriously worried.

The above video quickly went viral, and it has now amassed over five million views since it was posted 15 hours ago (as of writing).

It has also garnered all sorts of comments from the fans, a lot of which are worried about Rice and what could potentially be a lengthy injury spell for the 24-year-old.

"Mahomes just ended Rices season," said a viewer.

"Yikes I hope it’s not serious 🙏🏾" read a reaction.

"49ers fan here, praying for Rashee 🙏🏻" commented a user.

"LOOKED BAD HOPE HES OK," assessed another.

"Never want to see anyone get hurt like that. Hate to see injuries - period," reacted a user.

    "Oh man, prayers," said another.

The Chiefs have yet to issue an official statement on the severity of Rice's injury. He will reportedly undergo an MRI on Monday, which should determine the extent of the problem and potentially how much time the former SMU star will have to spend on the sidelines.

NFL insider Adam Schefter, however, reported after the game that Rice is "feared to have suffered a torn ACL ," which means that this could be a season-ending injury for the Chiefs wideout.

At this point, it appears that the concern from the fans are warranted.
