NFL Facing Backlash Over Controversial 'Monday Night Football' Decision

The NFL's Week 4 schedule will conclude with two primetime matchups on Monday night.

First, the Tennessee Titans will face off against the Miami Dolphins at 7:30 p.m. ET. That game will be followed by a matchup between the Seattle Seahawks and Detroit Lions at 8:15 p.m. ET.

This double header marks the second week in a row the NFL has rolled out overlapping primetime matchups on Monday night.

In Week 3, the Jacksonville Jaguars and Buffalo Bills overlapped with the Washington Commanders and Cincinnati Bengals.

For the most part, NFL fans are not happy about having two concurrent games on Monday night.

"I just wish they were not on at the same time so I could watch both live," one fan wrote.

"Let’s make this the last ever double header on primetime," another said.

"What’s with all the Monday night double headers?" another asked.

The Titans are looking to notch their first win of the season in tonight's matchup against the Dolphins. Miami hopes to avoid a 1-3 start following the loss of quarterback Tua Tagovailoa.

The Seahawks are looking to stay unbeaten after a red-hot 3-0 start, and the 2-1 Lions will try to build off Week 3's road win over the Arizona Cardinals.

The NFL has two more Monday Night Football double headers scheduled for Week 7 and Week 15.
