Colorado Buffaloes head coach Deion Sanders recently hinted at one NFL team that should prioritize drafting his two-way star, Travis Hunter.

Hunter is one of the most talented NFL prospects in recent years. His standout play at wide receiver and cornerback has sparked debate amongst the media about whether he should focus on one position or play both in the NFL.

In five games this season for the Buffaloes, Hunter has recorded 46 receptions for 561 yards and six touchdowns. On the defensive side of the ball, he has 16 tackles, one forced fumble, two interceptions and has not allowed a touchdown.

Hunter currently holds the third-best Heisman Trophy odds at +700, according to BetMGM .

In a recent episode of " Nightcap ," Shannon Sharpe and Chad "Ochocinco" Johnson's podcast, Sanders stared as a guest.

The trio spoke about various topics, including Hunter's future in the NFL.

The Jacksonville Jaguars were mentioned due to their 0-4 start to the 2024 NFL season. If the season ended today, they would hold the No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 NFL draft.

Sanders was apparently unaware of Jacksonville's record.

    "What's their record?" Sanders asked.

    "0-4," Sharpe responded.

"No," Sanders said. "Don't tell me that."

After a slight pause, Sanders jokingly added, "Travis!"

The Jaguars are coming off an 9-8 season in 2023 in which they started 8-3 but lost five of their final six games to miss the playoffs. They came into 2024 with postseason aspirations, but with their start, it isn't looking too promising.

Jacksonville is familiar with drafting No. 1 overall in recent years. In 2021, they selected quarterback Trevor Lawrence with the top selection, and the following year, they picked defensive end Travon Walker.

Hunter and Colorado will have a bye in Week 6, but in Week 7, they will host the No. 20 Kansas State Wildcats on Oct. 12.
