Reason Revealed for Taylor Swift’s Absence from Chiefs-Chargers Game

Social media was buzzing during Sunday’s Kansas City Chiefs-Los Angeles Chargers game, and it wasn’t because of anything that happened on the field.

Pop superstar Taylor Swift was not in attendance to support her boyfriend Travis Kelce, prompting many to speculate there might be some trouble between the two given Sunday’s game was one day after the reported date of their breakup in a bogus contract that was leaked online and since been debunked.

However, fans couldn’t help but wonder if the couple was having issues considering Swift missed the Chiefs’ 22-17 win over the Atlanta Falcons the previous week as well after appearing at the team’s first two games of the season.

However, a report from TMZ Sports seemed to indicate that Swift missed Kelce’s last two games because she’s preparing to go back on tour and has been cramming in lots of rehearsal time.

Sunday’s 17-10 win over the Chargers was Kelce’s best game of the season.

He caught seven of his nine targets for 89 yards and led the Chiefs in all three categories. The All-Pro tight end had just eight catches and 69 yards in his previous three games combined.

Given that Swift attended both of Kansas City's Week 1 and Week 2 games, which were home games, fans are champing at the bit to see if she will be in attendance for the team's Week 5 "Monday Night Football" matchup against the New Orleans Saints, which is also at home.
