LeBron James Makes Unexpected Admission About His Wife Savannah James

The Los Angeles Lakers kicked off their 2024-25 NBA season with media day to begin the week, and that means the first season with LeBron James and his son Bronny James is underway.

This year will mark the first time in league history that a father-son duo has played in the league at the same time, let alone for the same team.

Just like for every rookie, their first season comes with their first appearance on the popular video game "NBA 2K." For Bronny, he received an overall rating of 68 on the recently released "NBA 2K25."

During a media day interview that featured the Jameses, LeBron James revealed that his wife, Savannah James, decided to hop on the new 2K so she could play as her son.

"I have a video on my phone of Savannah playing NBA 2K," LeBron said. "She does not play video games, but she went in practice mode and played with her son... She was playing with Bronny. I said, 'Okay, this is what it takes to get you on the video games.' It was just super cool."

Many NBA fans loved the idea of Savannah playing the game just because of Bronny and took to social media to leave their thoughts.

"Bron's entire family is so wholesome, never gets into any scandals and just seems happy all the time," one fan said.

After one season with the USC Trojans, Bronny was selected with the No. 55 pick of the 2024 NBA draft. In his lone college season, Bronny played in 25 games, six of which were starts. He averaged 4.8 points, 2.8 rebounds and 2.1 assists.

In four games at the Las Vegas Summer League, Bronny increased his productivity, averaging 8.8 points, 3.5 rebounds and 1.0 assists.
