NFL Team Draws Embarrassing Home Crowd on Monday Night

The NFL's Week 4 schedule concluded with two matchups on Monday night.

The Seattle Seahawks and Detroit Lions delivered a thrilling shootout in front of a raucous crowd at Ford Field, giving NFL fans some serious "Monday Night Football" excitement.

The other contest paled in comparison.

The 0-3 Tennessee Titans and 1-2 Miami Dolphins faced off at Hard Rock Stadium. The Miami crowd dwindled as the Dolphins allowed a tight game to turn into a double-digit deficit in the second half.

Images of the empty Hard Rock Stadium seats are all over social media on Monday night.

"Flipping from the Lions crowd to the Dolphins crowd is like flipping from a rock concert to a funeral," one fan wrote.

"Dolphins fans storming to the exits with 14 minutes to go down 13 is flat out hilarious," another said.

"Damn, Dolphins fans already selling on this season place is like 65% capacity for a Monday nighter," another added.

It's hard to blame Dolphins fans after the start they've endured this season. The team has been hit with some brutal injury issues, most notably a concussion for starting quarterback Tua Tagovailoa.

The Dolphins fell to the visiting Titans 31-12 on Monday night. Led by new quarterback Tyler Huntley, the Miami offense mustered just 184 total yards.

The Dolphins will travel to New England for a Week 5 matchup against the Patriots this coming Sunday.
