We're four weeks into the 2024 NFL season, which means some trends are starting to develop for fantasy football managers, and we're getting some answers to many of our offseason questions.

No matter where you happen to fall in the standings after the first month of the season in your leagues, everybody is always looking for that extra edge that can make the difference between wins and losses the rest of the way. As bye weeks arrive and injuries continue to impact starting lineups, finding solid contributors who are flying under the radar will only become more vital.

As we look ahead to Week 5 and beyond, here are a few pass-catchers who could provide a valuable boost to your fantasy teams throughout the rest of the year:

    Josh Downs, Colts

After missing the first two weeks of the season due to injury, Downs had a quiet Week 3 before delivering an impressive performance in Week 4. Downs caught eight of his nine targets for 82 yards and a touchdown.

Undersized but quick, Downs is a smooth route-runner who knows how to find soft spots in zone coverage, and can create separation at every level of the field. Now that it looks like he's back to full strength, don't be surprised if he continues to take advantage of opposing defenses paying most of their attention in coverage to Michael Pittman Jr., regardless of who's throwing the passes.

    Wan'Dale Robinson, Giants

There's definitely an ocean between Malik Nabers and the rest of the Giants' receiving corps, but there's something to be said for opportunity, and Robinson is getting plenty of them so far this season. He currently ranks fourth in the NFL in targets through the first four weeks, seeing double-digit looks for the second time in Week 4.

An explosive playmaker with the ball in his hands, Robinson should keep getting plenty of targets while opponents focus the majority of their energies on trying to take away Nabers. Yes, it would be nice if he had better quarterback play, but he's making the most of what he has, and that's enough to score some valuable fantasy points.

    Darnell Mooney, Falcons

The Falcons gave Mooney $39 million over three years in free agency this offseason, and they're backing it up on the field so far this season. Mooney leads the team in receiving yards through four weeks, outpacing recent top-10 picks Drake London and Kyle Pitts while providing plenty of explosive plays downfield.

Mooney has clearly earned the trust of veteran quarterback Kirk Cousins, and with London and Pitts continuing to draw the attention of opposing defenses, he should keep getting plenty of 1-on-1 opportunities over the top. There's no reason to think his opportunities and chunk plays will slow down anytime soon, so if he's still available in your league, snatch him up.
