The Buffalo Bills added needed depth to their defensive line by poaching a player the Atlanta Falcons drafted in April.

The Bills defense could use upgraded help for its front seven after surrendering 271 rushing yards in their 35-10 loss to the Baltimore Ravens in Week 4.

Per Pro Football Focus, the Bills run defense ranks 28th in the league entering Week 5. The Bills have surrendered 626 yards on the ground to their opponents through their first four games. Buffalo's offense has 441 yards on the ground in comparison.

According to Tom Pelissero with the NFL Network, the Bills are signing defensive tackle Zion Logue from the Atlanta Falcons practice squad on Tuesday.

The Falcons selected Logue in the in sixth round of April's draft. He played five seasons and won two national titles for the Georgia Bulldogs.

Per Bleacher Report's pre-draft scouting report, Logue's strength is as a run defender .

"Zion Logue is a fifth-year senior who didn't become a consistent starter until this past season on Georgia's defensive line," per the BR NFL Scouting Department. "That led to some underwhelming production in college, but he does have good size and is a solid run defender who could make a roster for a team that needs a two-gapping defensive lineman.

"However, Logue lacks NFL athleticism and movement skills to make an impact in the passing game and become a dominant or disruptive run defender."

Logue appeared in 50 games for Georgia. The 6-foot-5, 310 pound interior defensive lineman recorded 28 total tackles, five tackles for a loss and 1.5 sacks in college.

Logue, a native of Lebanon, Tennessee, recorded two solo tackles and two assisted tackles for the Falcons during the preseason. Atlanta waived the 23-year-old following training camp before adding him back to the practice squad before the regular-season.
