Davante Adams Makes Eye-Opening Comments About Antonio Pierce

The conversation of the Raiders ' impressive win over the Cleveland Browns was short-lived, as the narrative of Davante Adams being traded is circulating once again.

This time it was sparked by a social media post that was liked by Raiders' head coach Antonio Pierce. The post in question was sent by Michael Fabiano of Sports Illustrated saying that "Davante Adams had already played his last snap with the Raiders."

Now Adams was asked point blank about the entire situation by Kay Adams on her show Up & Adams and if he has heard from Pierce since this went viral.

"I haven't heard from him, I haven't talked to him, I don't really know what it's about" responded Adams. "Social media is a beast, there's a lot of people out there that saw that and are wondering what's going on, and people reaching out."

When asked even more directly by Kay if he would want to hear from Pierce, Adams had this to say.

"Honestly it's hard to comment on I'm sure you would imagine as such. It's one of those situations where I just keep my head down, keep doing my thing, and let the chips fall where they may as it pertains to that."

So far, this is the most real the trade rumors have felt, and there's a real possibility that Adams is traded before the November deadline. Through the three games Adams has played in, he has 18 receptions for 209 yards and a touchdown, according to ESPN .

The question now becomes, will any more of those stats count for the Raiders moving forward?
