Bills' Von Miller Suspended Four Games By NFL

The Buffalo Bills appeared to be on top of the world through the first three weeks of the NFL season and a big part of that was due to Von Miller's career resurgence.

Then the loss to Baltimore on Sunday night seemed to bring everything back down to earth.

Miller was suspended Tuesday afternoon for four games due to violating the league's personal conduct policy. The announcement - first reported by Tom Pelissero of NFL Network - will push Miller to be eligible to apply for reinstatement on October 28th.

Buffalo will be facing off against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 8 once that happens.

Miller previously was suspended by the NFL back in 2013 for six games under the NFL's substance-abuse policy, a violation the linebacker said did not result from a positive test.

While the official situation has not been detailed exactly as to why Miller was suspended by the league, it is a massive loss to a Bills roster in desperate need of top defensive talent.

All-Pro cornerback Taron Johnson has been hurt for the majority of the start of the season with a forearm injury and Matt Milano is expected to miss the entirety of the regular season due to a torn triceps injury.

Miller's suspension adds a new wrinkle to Buffalo's difficult start to the season.
