Following a double-header on "Monday Night Football," ESPN released its viewership statistics for the matchups between the Tennessee Titans at the Miami Dolphins and the Seattle Seahawks at the Detroit Lions.

ESPN PR revealed that the overlapping "Monday Night Football" Week 4 slate averaged more than 20.3 million viewers. It was a 7% increase from a double-header in Week 3 and peaked at 21.4 million viewers.

The Titans secured the first victory of the prime time matchup, taking down the Dolphins 31-12. Detroit followed that with a 42-29 victory over the Seahawks.

Despite the overlap in games, ESPN received great feedback for their double-header.

The Titans played behind a successful performance from their defense, who held Miami to 13 first-down conversions. Miami also converted on just 2-of-13 third-down attempts.

The Dolphins didn't get dismantled by the Titans offense, but field position and time of possession played a role in Miami's loss. They had possession for 25:08, while Tennessee held the ball for 34:52.

Much of this had to do with Dolphins starting quarterback Tyler Huntley, who was playing in his first game in place of injured Tua Tagovailoa.

Huntley finished the game with 96 yards, completing 14-of-22 pass attempts. He also added one touchdown and 40 yards on the ground.

In the Lions' victory, quarterback Jared Goff played a phenomenal game, recording two touchdowns and 292 yards, completing 18-of-18 pass attempts. Goff also caught a touchdown thrown by wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown.

Detroit played with a balanced offense that had eight players record a reception. Jameson Williams led the receiving room in total yards with 80 on the night while hauling in one touchdown and two receptions,
