Giants Projected to Replace Daniel Jones With College Football's Top QB

The New York Giants have perhaps the best rookie wide receiver in a long time in Malik Nabers , who they selected No. 6 overall this year, and a second consecutive top-10 pick in next year's NFL draft could allow them to secure a matching talent at quarterback.

Nabers has arguably salvaged the career of Giants starter Daniel Jones or, at the very least, lengthened it as the QB1 this season in New York. However, the team profiles as a likely bottom-10 finisher in the league, which means a high draft pick and access to some of the best signal callers the 2025 class has to offer.

Among them is Miami Hurricanes quarterback Cameron (Cam) Ward , who Trevor Sikkema of Pro Football Focus projects the Giants will select with the No. 10 overall pick next spring.

"The end could be near for many current Giants players and decision-makers. One major change I expect is at quarterback," Sikkema wrote on Wednesday, October 2 . "Cam Ward is having a Heisman-like season, putting up an impressive 8.7% big-time throw percentage and a 91.2 passing grade through five weeks."

Ward's traditional statistics are just as impressive, as he leads college football with 1,782 passing yards and 18 TDs through five games. He is also first in the FBS in yards per attempt (11.1), yards per completion (15.8) and passing efficiency rating (195.1), per Football Reference .

The former Washington State Cougars standout has completed north of 70% of his passes so far this season.

The best Move by the Giants is to dump that Mook masquerading as a HC. Yeah, and dump the always get injured Daniel Jones. As for getting a QB in the draft, these dopes who are the team owners will have their lunches eaten by Owners who know about Football as we are stuck forever with amateurs.
