Caitlin Clark has concluded her rookie season with the Indiana Fever following a trip to the WNBA playoffs.

The No. 6 Fever were eliminated from the playoffs in the first round, falling to the No. 3 Connecticut Sun. Nearly a week after the loss, Clark took to social media to thank her fans.

The rookie shared a few photos of her first year with the Fever while mentioning that she'll be ready for her second season in the league.

"Year one," Clark said. "Thank you to the many people who have supported me as I've been able to live my childhood dream. I'm filled with gratitude as I reflect on this past year of my life. See you all in year two."

Following the release of the post, Clark's former Iowa Hawkeyes teammate, Gabbie Marshall, sent a proud message to the rookie.

"Love you & so proud of you," Marshall said with a heart emoji.

Marshall played one season with the Hawkeyes, 2019-20, before the arrival of Clark. She averaged 6.6 points, 1.5 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game in five years with the program.

Marshall served as one of the best three-point shooters in the country, shooting nearly 40% for distance during her college career.

In four seasons with the Hawkeyes, Clark averaged 28.4 points, 7.1 rebounds and 8.2 assists per game.

After a historic year with the Hawkeyes in 2024, where Clark became the NCAA's all-time leading scorer, recording 3,951 points, she took over the WNBA.

The Fever rookie posted 19.2 points, 7.7 rebounds and 8.4 assists per game. She led the Fever to their first playoff appearance since 2016 and helped them secure a 20-20 record, their first 20-win season since 2015.
