Fans Ecstatic After Angel Reese Reveals Dwyane Wade News

Chicago Sky star Angel Reese recently released news about her "Unapologetically Angel" podcast. After having a couple of special guests on the show, like Latto, Polo G and Sheryl Swoopes, Reese will welcome an NBA legend to the mix.

In her last podcast episode, Reese talked with WNBA legend Sheryl Swoopes about the league's growth and the playoff outlook.

She's now revealed that NBA legend Dwyane Wade will be the next guest on the "Unapologetically Angel" show.

The episode with Wade will be released on Oct. 3 at 5 p.m. ET.

Following the announcement, fans posted their excited reactions on social media.

Wade is a part of the ownership group with the Sky, reportedly buying in at an $85 million valuation in 2023. He became the second former NBA player to invest in the WNBA, joining Magic Johnson with a minority stake in the Los Angeles Sparks.

Before entering into the business world of the WNBA, Wade retired from the NBA as a three-time Champion, Finals MVP, and thirteen-time All-Star. He played in the league from 2003 to 2019, completing his career with the Miami Heat, the Chicago Bulls and the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Reese is well on her way to becoming a legend, much like Wade. In her rookie season with the Sky, Reese recorded 13.6 points and 13.1 rebounds per game. She was named a WNBA All-Star and cemented herself as one of the best rebounders in the league at 22 years old.
