All eyes will be on the Los Angeles Lakers, once again, in the upcoming season as fans are eager to watch LeBron James and Bronny James share the floor.

They are the first-ever active father-and-son duo in NBA history. But with it, also comes heavy expectations, especially for the 19-year-old Bronny James, who has been on the receiving end of biting remarks from fans since getting drafted by the Lakers as the No. 55 overall pick.

LeBron James already stated that he doesn't have expectations of the Lakers right now, although it's safe to say that he wants his son to do well despite the uncertainty with the younger James' role.

The elder James changed his profile picture on Instagram with an image of him and his son taken from the Lakers' media day.

LeBron James has long talked about playing with his sons in the NBA one day. The fulfillment of the dream was much sweeter after becoming teammates with Bronny James.

The four-time MVP will carry a heavy load anew for the Lakers, as they look to return to the NBA Finals for the first time since winning their 17th title in 2020.

The rookie guard, meanwhile, is expected to see limited minutes off the bench for new Lakers coach JJ Redick.

The James' have been going at it in training camp, with Anthony Davis revealing that they've been backing Bronny James with his trash talk against his legendary father.

"It's fantastic to be able to be here and witness it in practice," said Davis in a report from ESPN's Dave McMenamin . "Bronny hit a three over him (LeBron) today. Everybody was talking smack in Bronny's favor."

Bronny James could see action in the Lakers' preseason opener against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Friday.
