Paul Finebaum Reveals Major College Football Coach Who Has 'Bamboozled' The Media

College football boasts big personalities in coaching, from Colorado Buffaloes head coach Deion Sanders to Ole Miss Rebels head coach Lane Kiffin.

ESPN's Paul Finebaum shared on his show, the "Paul Finebaum Show," that he thinks Kiffin has "bamboozled" the media. Finebaum believes that Kiffin's interest in analytics, along with his personality, has led people to believe he's a better coach than he actually is. Finebaum even agreed with Sports Illustrated's Pat Forde, who described Kiffin as "unserious."

"I think, for the most part, Kiffin still has the overwhelming majority of the media bamboozled," Finebaum said. "I thought the Pat Forde shot the other day was pretty hard-hitting. Calling him an 'unserious coach.' You know, I think it's accurate."

Finebaum mentioned that he and Kiffin are close, but he tries to be objective when discussing everyone. Finebaum concludes that Ole Miss' game on Saturday against the South Carolina Gamecocks is a pivotal game for the team. He thinks Ole Miss will win, but if the Rebels fail, he feels their season could be over quickly if they aren't careful.

According to Finebaum, the Rebels were once considered a strong contender for the College Football Playoff this season but may now be on the outside looking in.
