This absence suggests that Corso may not be making the trip to California this Saturday—a disappointing prospect for Golden Bear fans eagerly awaiting his iconic headgear selection, which would mark his 419th all-time.

At 89 years old, Lee Corso missed Week Zero in Dublin, Ireland, and as his role on "College GameDay" has diminished, concerns about his week-to-week status have started to mount.

Typically, press releases highlight his name, include details about his headgear selections, and note his impressive record. However, this week, none of those mentions appeared.

It's especially disappointing given that Corso is a remarkable 5-0 in headgear selections this season, having correctly predicted his last seven dating back to last year.
