The Washington Commanders continue to impress, improving to 3-1 following their dominant 42-14 victory over the Arizona Cardinals in Week 4. Led by rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels, Washington is off to its best start since 2011, and Daniels is emerging as one of the brightest young stars in the NFL.

His performance has not only helped elevate the Commanders to the top of the NFC East but has also earned him a notable ratings boost in Madden NFL 25.

Through four weeks , Daniels has led the league in completion percentage at 82.1 percent while adding four rushing touchdowns—the most among quarterbacks—and ranking second in rushing yards behind Lamar Jackson with 218 yards.

His Week 4 performance further showcased his dual-threat abilities, completing 26 of 30 passes for 233 yards, a passing touchdown, and a rushing touchdown, helping the Commanders secure their third consecutive win.

Daniels’ stellar play has been reflected in his Madden ratings as well. After his standout start, he saw his overall rating rise by three points to 79, with significant increases in key categories like short throw accuracy (91), medium throw accuracy (82), and throwing under pressure (82).

The rating increase solidifies his role as the offensive leader for the Commanders.

As Washington prepares for their Week 5 matchup against the Cleveland Browns, they’ll look to keep the momentum going. Daniels’ rushing ability, with 46 attempts for 218 yards and four rushing touchdowns, has kept defenses off-balance all season.

Cleveland's defense, allowing 123.3 rushing yards per game, will face a tough challenge in slowing down the dynamic rookie quarterback and Washington’s high-powered offense.
