Angel Reese Drops Eye-Opening Response To Her Critics

Angel Reese may not have won Rookie of the Year in her first WNBA season with the Chicago Sky, but that doesn't take away from what was ultimately an incredibly impressive campaign for her.

In just one year, Reese quickly emerged as one of the most imposing centers in the league, as she put up some big numbers (13.6 PPG, 13.1 RPG, 1.9 APG, 39.1 FG%) to help her earn an All-Star selection.

And yet, while Reese has a ton of fans, she also has quite a few critics, with many of them claiming that the Sky center is only good at rebounding. You can bet Reese has heard these claims, and she offered a blunt response to folks who are slapping that label on her.

Reese led the league in rebounds per game this season, but some people have accused her of statpadding by constantly grabbing her own missed shots on the offensive end of the floor.

There's no doubt that Reese has to clean up her efficiency on offense, but she makes a good point here, as she still has to go out and get the rebounds that are up for grabs.

If Reese can improve offensively, fans will quickly stop making these claims, and you can bet she will be focusing much of her work over the offseason on finding a way to improve in this area in order to silence her critics.
