The Davante Adams sweepstakes are beginning to heat up, and the three-time All-Pro may have just made things a bit more interesting.

After reports confirmed that both the Las Vegas Raiders and Adams wanted to move on, the two teams that were immediately viewed as landing spots were the New York Jets and New Orleans Saints. Either move would allow Adams to team up with a quarterback he has played with before, as the Jets have former Green Bay Packers star Aaron Rodgers, and the Saints have former Raider Derek Carr, who Adams also played with at Fresno State.

While other teams like the Cleveland Browns and Buffalo Bills have gotten into the mix, Adams' Instagram story on Friday may have indicated another team he'd like to play for in, the Baltimore Ravens. The 31-year-old posted a picture of iconic 1800s poet and writer Edgar Allen Poe, who is most known for his narrative poem "The Raven," which we many of us read in high school English class.

This, of course, led to fans assuming he is Baltimore-bound.

"Oh he will be a raven," wrote one user.

"Never in my life have I seen an athlete post a poet from the 1800s. This is ungodly levels of trolling if he doesn’t become a Raven," added another.

    "He’s a Raven," commented another .

It's unclear when Adams will be traded, but being that he doesn't have a no-trade clause, it is up to the Raiders to determine what the best deal is. Reports have confirmed that the Raiders are hoping to get a package-centered around a second-round pick.

Maybe this is Adams' way of saying he's open to more than just the Jets and Saints.
