Davante Adams is the talk of town after the superstar wide receiver demanded a trade from the Las Vegas Raiders. It's unknown if or when Adams will be traded, but plenty of fans believe the New York Jets are the favorite to make a deal happen.

The 31-year-old receiver may want a reunion with former Green Bay Packers teammate Aaron Rodgers. However, the Raiders have claimed that they're seeking the best possible deal on the market.

On Friday, Adams shared a cryptic post on his Instagram story, sharing an image of famed poet Edgar Allen Poe. It's created a buzz that has fans believing the superstar wide receiver could be dealt to the Baltimore Ravens.

Shortly after that social media post, Raiders head coach Antonio Pierce was asked about the ongoing trade rumors. The 45-year-old coach (soon to be 46) responded with a stern 11-word message about the current rumors, according to Clayton Holloway of The NFL Network.

"That's handled on the 3rd floor. I'm focused on the Broncos."

Pierce's "3rd floor" response is referencing the Raiders' front office. General manager Tom Telesco is the one who is orchestrating any kind of trade talks Las Vegas may or may not be having.

While Telesco figures out what to do with the disgruntled wide receiver, Pierce and the Raiders have a Week 5 matchup against the Denver Broncos on Sunday, Oct. 6.

Adams has not played since the Raiders' Week 3 matchup against the Carolina Panthers. Las Vegas sidelined the veteran wide receiver in Week 4 against the Cleveland Browns due to Adams suffering a hamstring injury. He is currently on track to miss the Week 5 game against the Broncos.

It's been a bit of a rocky start to the season for Adams as well, as he's had one strong performance in three games. In Week 2, Adams put up 110 yards and a touchdown off of nine receptions to help the Raiders beat the Ravens 26-23.

Although the rumor mill is red hot, Las Vegas has plenty of time to weigh its options. The NFL trade deadline doesn't pass until 4 P.M. Eastern on Tuesday, Nov. 5.
