Rodgers Promises 'Things Are Close' for Vikings in London

The New York Jets will travel to London for a crucial early-season matchup against the Minnesota Vikings on Monday.

After putting together two strong offensive performances in Weeks 2 and 3, the Jets struggled mightily in their Week 4 loss to the Denver Broncos, as the offense scored just nine points and failed to get into the end zone.

It likely won't get much easier for the Jets' offense in Week 5, as Minnesota enters the matchup allowing just under 15 points-per-game, which is fourth-best in the NFL through the first four games.

Entering the matchup, quarterback Aaron Rodgers took accountability for the offense's inconsistent start.

"We've been up and down," said Rodgers. "So we're still trying to find a way to get the ball in space to our guys, get our best 11 on the field. And it starts with me. I've got to be efficient and deal the ball when necessary, hold onto the ball when necessary, and make sure we're good on first and second down this week."

Rodgers also addressed his struggles to find star receiver Garrett Wilson early in the season. Through four games, Wilson has just 191 receiving yards and one touchdown.

"It's just the details," Rodgers said. "We've got to be on the same page, so conversations that we have are important, me seeing the game through his eyes, him seeing the game through my eyes, and just going out there and executing. I don't think it's big changes. Things are close and one of these weeks we'll put it together."

"One of these weeks''? There are only so many of those, as Aaron knows. So ... this would be a convenient time for it to be "the week.''
