Nick Sirianni Keeps Getting Dumped On As Eagles Head Coach

It doesn't matter what happens on Sundays, Philadelphia Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni isn't going to get the benefit of the doubt.

As the Eagles have stumbled to a 2-2 start, the frustration and inconsistencies have fallen on Philadelphia's head coach to this point with positive results leaving him along for the ride, and losses forcing him to be the main culprit.

That reality has become clear with media pundits bashing Philadelphia's coaching staff more than anything to this point of the season.

“That’s a poorly coached football team," ESPN's Dan Orlovsky said of the Eagles. "Watch their tape. Number one, since the start of 2023, has anyone gotten better on the team? Jalen Hurts, in a matter of 20 games, has gone from the MVP in the Super Bowl to a liability on offense. And I know Jalen Hurts isn’t lazy. Number two, watch that game from this past weekend, there isn’t one person on that football team who pops off the tape."

While Orlovsky is certainly fair about Hurts' supposed regression and the fact that the team has struggled to improve their young talent, but the reality is that the team is only 2-2.

They aren't 0-4 or 1-3. They could easily be 3-1 to this point as well.

But when the Eagles have a head coach who doesn't call plays, Sirianni will get all the blame and little credit for everything going on.
