Watch Josh Minott's Impressive Reverse Dunk in Preseason Win Against Lakers

    By Nick Wright,

Minott's athleticism was on full display last night when he pulled off an incredible reverse dunk, leaving fans stunned. That was just one of Minott's multiple dunks as he picked apart the Lakers defense, scoring a phenomenal 22 points and yanking down 8 boards.

In this clip (courtesy of the Timberwolves Clips X account), Minott beats the defender off the dribble, sneaks underneath the rim and throws down an impressive reverse dunk.

In the past, Josh Minott struggled to overcome several weaknesses, including poor shooting form, a tendency to rush his shots, and a lack of control when attempting layups or setting picks and screens. However, over the past two years, Minott has evolved into a smarter player. He has simplified his thought process on the court and gained confidence in his mid-range shooting, significantly improving his overall game. These developments have positioned him to become a more reliable contributor for the Timberwolves this season.

Josh Minott has had an incredible summer and Timberwolves coach Chris Finch recently said, "[Josh Minott] has probably been one of our best players in the last six weeks.” Throughout the summer, Minott has been a constant source of intrigue for Wolves fans. If tonight's game is any indication of how much Minott's play style has improved, then I can't wait to see the impact he has this year for the Timberwolves.
