The Las Vegas Raiders are projected to be one of a select handful of teams who will be hoping to land their franchise quarterback in the 2025 NFL Draft, and it seems as if electric Colorado star Shedeur Sanders has formed a connection with Raiders owner Mark Davis.

Davis, who owns the Raiders and the Las Vegas Aces, met up with Sanders and 2024 WNBA MVP A'ja Wilson after the Aces' 95-81 game-three win over the New York Liberty. The meet-up fueled speculation that Sanders could be the Raiders' top target, and it would be hard to see a better place for Sanders to go as he already embodies the culture and flashiness of the city.

To further the flame, Davis and Sanders had a personal interaction post-game in which Davis hinted at the Buffs quarterback being the new face of the storied franchise.

“Who knows? You might be home right now,” Davis said.

Up to this point in the season, Sanders has thrown for 1,630 yards, 14 touchdowns, and 3 interceptions with a completion rate of 70.1% and a QBR of 69.1 while also racking up 25 yards and a touchdown on the ground.

Sanders' athleticism and overall talent can't be highlighted enough, and should he be the next man under center to don the silver and black, Raider Nation would potentially be in for a new, exciting era of Raider football that has been missing from the NFL for far too long.
