Everyone Made the Same Joke After Texas A&M Police Report During Missouri Game Goes Viral

The No. 25 ranked Texas A&M Aggies routed the No. 9 ranked Missouri Tigers in a 41-10 victory. It was never really a close one, as the Aggies took an early lead and dominated most of the game.

Many believed the Tigers had one of the best defenses in the nation, but Texas A&M scored at will. Running back Le'Veon Moss proved to be the difference-maker after racking up 138 yards and three touchdowns. His 11.5 yards per attempt made him one of the most efficient college football players on Saturday.

College Station was roaring throughout most of the game, and the fanbase had a blast watching their team take down a Top 10 ranked program with ease. However, one fan might have had a bit of too much fun during the Week 6 matchup.

The Texas A&M Police shared a report on social media midway through the contest. They revealed that one fan was removed from the stadium for being too intoxicated. But sports fans everywhere couldn't help but make the same joke, as the police reported they dropped off the allegedly inebriated man to his "sober wife."

Since being posted at 2:11 P.M. Eastern, the Texas A&M Police report has received over 1 million views, 2,000 likes, and 350 re-posts. Sports fans jumped in the comments and made similar jokes about the alleged situation.

"There are fates worse than death, and released to sober wife might be a top that list," claimed one fan .

Another fan admitted , "Probably woulda been kinder to just take him to jail in this instance."

"'Released to sober wife' pretty sure the constitution prevents cruel and unusual punishment," joked one individual .

This person told the Texas A&M Police, "You should have just kept him tbh. He’d have a better fate sobering up with you."

"Jail would have been better for him," said another user .

If the alleged individual is a Texas A&M fan then at least he got to see the Aggies pull off an amazing upset. But if he's a fan of Missouri, then things just went from bad to potentially worse.

After beating the Tigers, the Aggies move onto their bye week with a 5-1 record. They'll return in Week 8 when Texas A&M takes on the Mississippi State Bulldogs. Missouri, on the other hand, now have a 4-1 record and will face off against the UMass Minutemen in Week 7.
