Peyton Manning Hilariously Explained Why Texas QB Arch Manning Turned Down His Advice

Being the nephew of Super Bowl-winning quarterbacks surely has numerous pros and cons, and for Texas Longhorns signal-caller Arch Manning, the positives undoubtedly outweigh the negatives.

Except in those instances when the advice passed down is just a bit more than he hoped to receive.

This was the case for the 19-year-old quarterback after he reached out to his Pro Football Hall-of-Fame uncle, Peyton Manning, with a question about a two-minute drill. However, considering the detail-oriented approach Arch's uncle took on the field throughout his NFL career, it shouldn't come as a surprise that Peyton was ready to dive in head first when responding.

As Peyton told Kay Adams on the Up & Adams show , he sent his nephew three eight-minute voice memos, leading to Arch's hilarious response.

The Texas quarterback has likely absorbed plenty of advice from Peyton and Eli over the years, but this answer was apparently more than he was looking for.

Manning has thrived since stepping in as the starter at Texas, replacing an injured Quinn Ewers. He's completed 70.5 percent of his passes while throwing for 900 yards, nine touchdowns and just two interceptions this season.
