    Browns Hold Players-Only Meeting

The Cleveland Browns will look to turn their season around in Week 5 when they face the Washington Commanders on Sunday.

It has been a near-disastrous start to the season for Cleveland, as they are now 1-3 after losing two-straight games to the New York Giants and the Las Vegas Raiders, respectively.

While the team has struggled with injuries, especially on the offensive line, they have consistently lost winnable games as the offense has failed to live up to their potential.

Now, it seems as though the team has acknowledged their shortcomings and will look to make adjustments going forward. According to reporter Dianna Russini , the Browns held a players-only meeting earlier in the week to discuss the issues in their slow start.

Oftentimes, a players-only meeting is held after a team goes through a rough stretch and wants to turn things around. It's certainly not ideal for the team to be holding one so early in the season.

One of the biggest disappointments for the Browns so far in 2024 has been quarterback Deshaun Watson. Through four games, Watson just four passing touchdowns and three interceptions. He also has yet to throw for over 200 passing yards in a game.

Cleveland did have some positive injury news come out of practice during the week, as star running back Nick Chubb began practicing for the first time since sustaining a season-ending knee injury in 2023. The return of Chubb could be exactly what the team needs to jump-start their offense
