The No. 4 Tennessee Volunteers didn’t take too kindly to being upset by the unranked Arkansas Razorbacks on Saturday, and frustrations boiled over moments after the game.

As Arkansas fans stormed the field to celebrate their first win over an AP top-five ranked opponent since 2010, cameras caught one Tennessee player putting his hands on a Razorbacks fans as the Vols were walking back to the locker room.

In the video clip, which has over 460,000 views, nearly 10,000 likes and 629 replies, UT senior defensive lineman Omari Thomas, who’s 6-foot-4 and 325 pounds, can be seen stopping and turning right before reaching the tunnel to shove an Arkansas fan to the ground.

On his way down, the male fan was flung into a female fan, who also tumbled backward and hit the ground as well.

It’s not known if the fan said anything to Thomas to make him react in the aggressive manner he did, but regardless, Thomas’ actions aren’t justifiable, especially given he’s on Tennessee’s SEC Football Leadership Council.

Several fans tagged the X accounts of the Tennessee football team, Vols head coach Josh Heupel and SEC commissioner Greg Sankey hoping Thomas faces some sort of disciplinary action.

“There’s absolutely NO place for that. Do better, @Vol_Football,” @acoop114 wrote .

“Hey @SEC @Vol_Football is this what your players do? Should be suspended for Saturdays game at the very least. Disgusting,” @gatorfan00140 commented .

“@coachjoshheupel this the kind of players you have on your team? First a dirty hit on the QB then abuse fans?” @NickEfurd asked .

“@GregSankey can't believe this happened under your watch. Disgusting. Should be suspended for their next game,” @_DiegoLuna_ remarked .

Given the amount of backlash Tennessee is facing, it’s likely some form of punishment is coming Thomas’ way.
