Aaron Rodgers will enter Week 6 dealing with another injury after the New York Jets' 23-17 loss to the Minnesota Vikings in London on Sunday.

Rodgers was seen landing awkwardly on top of Vikings' linebacker Pat Jones II with just over six minutes remaining in the third quarter.

Following the game, the four-time NFL MVP said the Jets medical staff called him into the blue tent, but he chose to disregard the request after he saw a roughing the kicker penalty that gave the Jets a first down at the New York 29-yard line.

"I said, 'Screw it I’m going back out there,'" Rodgers said to reporters.

Rodgers drove the Jets down for a field goal after the penalty.

Rodgers confirmed he suffered a low-ankle sprain on the play where he landed on Jones. The five-time All-Pro quarterback said the injury occurred when he had his foot get caught up in a pile.

A reporter asked Rodgers -- who was placed on the Week 5 injury report with a knee ailment -- if he had re-injured his knee, as he appeared to clutch the back of his leg after the play. The 40-year-old made a dark joke about where his body is at entering Week 6.

"There were a lot of things that made some noises on the way down," Rodgers said with a smirk.

Rodgers' health has been a focus this season after his torn Achilles in Week 1 last year crushed the Jets' chances of being a playoff contender. His body is squeaking in multiple places with more than two-thirds of the regular season left to be played.

Rodgers' joke about his health will be heard in other corners of the league. Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver and potential Jets' trade target Davante Adams is reportedly skeptical about Rodgers' plans to play past this season.

Rodgers will have an extra day to get healthy before the 2-3 Jets play their next game. The Buffalo Bills will travel to MetLife Stadium to play their AFC East rival on "Monday Night Football" on Oct. 14.
