Awkward Exchange Between Deshaun Watson, Kevin Stefanski Heavily Criticized by Browns Fans

The Cleveland Browns fell to 1-4 on the season following a 34-13 loss on Sunday to the Washington Commanders. While there's been no shortage of frustrating moments for the Browns this season, one crucial moment early in the second half summed up the team’s season thus far.

While trailing 24-3 and facing a fourth-and-goal, head coach Kevin Stefanski appeared ready to go for it and attempt to cut Washington's lead to two scores.

However, shortly after, quarterback Deshaun Watson turned and began walking off the field, much to the dismay of Stefanski, who initially looked confused. Following Stefanski's animated response, Watson was visibly frustrated on the sidelines.

However, despite all the criticism Watson received regarding his below-average play this season, it was pointed out that the Browns had 12 players on the field . In turn, they had to take a timeout or let the play clock run out.

Even ignoring this one incident, it's apparent that Browns fans are fed up, especially with Watson's play.

Sunday's loss marked another mediocre performance from Watson, who completed 15-of-28 passes for 125 yards and one touchdown while averaging 4.5 yards per attempt. So far this season, Watson has completed 60.7 percent of his passing attempts for 852 yards, five touchdowns and three interceptions.
