The Washington Commanders turn their attention to their week 6 matchup against the Baltimore Ravens after moving to 4-1 on the season, demolishing the Cleveland Browns 34-13 and lead the NFC East.

Washington’s offense and defense worked in tandem throughout the game, leading to the team's fourth win of the season and establishing them as early contenders in the division.

The Commanders' offense was well-balanced, recording 434 total yards, with 219 coming through the air and 215 on the ground. Washington converted 8 of 17 third-down attempts and was successful on both of its fourth-down conversions.

The Commanders’ defense applied constant pressure on Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson, who was sacked seven times. Watson struggled to find a rhythm, finishing with just 125 passing yards and a single touchdown. Cleveland managed only 212 total yards, with the majority of their drives stalling due to Washington's suffocating defensive front.

    NFC East Standings:

    1. Washington Commanders (4-1)

    2. Dallas Cowboys (3-2)

    3. Philadelphia Eagles (2-2) Week 5 bye

    4. New York Giants (2-3)

The Commanders' ability to control both sides of the ball is a significant reason they are currently in first place in the division.

Next weekend Washington will face a stiff challenge when they take on the Ravens. They enter the game with the league’s No. 1 rushing attack, averaging over 200 yards per game. Washington’s defense averages allowing 130 rushing yards per game and will need to step up if they hope to maintain their position as NFC East leaders.
