The No. 6 Miami Hurricanes continue to find ways to win, largely thanks to the consistent and gritty play of quarterback Cam Ward , who has led fourth-quarter comebacks in two straight games.

On Saturday, Miami trailed by double digits in the second half against California while on the road, but Ward remained unfazed despite the upsets unfolding throughout the day. He managed to secure the victory, earning recognition from the ACC for the second consecutive week.

Ward was named the ACC Quarterback of the Week, an honor he also received last week and several times this season, as he has helped keep the Hurricanes undefeated through six weeks.

He finished the game by completing 35 of 53 passes for an impressive 437 yards, along with two passing touchdowns and one rushing touchdown. Miami won the game 39-38 after taking the lead in the final minute.

So far this season, Ward has completed 148 of 214 passes for 2,219 yards, 20 touchdowns, and five interceptions, while also rushing for three touchdowns.
