The Wisconsin football program has added its second commitment to the 2026 recruiting class.

Three-star interior offensive lineman Benjamin Novak, an Indiana native, announced his commitment to Wisconsin just days after his game-day visit to UW.

According to the 247Sports rankings, Novak is the No. 48 IOL lineman in the 2026 recruiting class and the No. 11 player in Indiana.

Offensive line coach AJ Blazek took the lead in Novak's recruitment, extending an offer to the 6-foot-6, 320-pound prospect in June. Novak chose Wisconsin over offers from Indiana, Kentucky, Louisville, Marshall, Western Michigan, Toledo, Bowling Green, Ball State, and Akron.

Andrean High School's standout received IFCA All-State honors after a strong sophomore year, during which he played in multiple spots on the offensive line and defensive end. Novak is also a two-sport athlete, playing center on the basketball court.

Novak is a big-bodied offensive lineman with a good understanding of leverage and the strength to physically overpower opposing linemen. He is a dominant force that already has the size of a college lineman, he just needs to grow more refined in his technical abilities. That will make him an exciting prospect to monitor before he steps on campus.

With Novak's pledge, the Wisconsin football program is now up to two commitments in the 2026 class as Novak joins QB Jarin Mock.
