If one thing has become apparent through five weeks of the NFL season, it's that the Raiders will be targeting a quarterback in the 2025 NFL draft.

Gardner Minshew has been pulled out of two games now to give Aidan O'Connell a chance to give the offense a spark meaning coaches have lost confidence in him.

To O'Connell's credit, the games he's been thrown into have already been out of reach. The first one being against the Carolina Panthers and then this past week against the Denver Broncos . The dire situation that is the Raiders' quarterback room hasn't been lost on former NFL cornerback and current Insider Ryan Clark.

It's blunt; it's not what Raiders fans want to hear, but by all accounts, it's true. The Raiders were entering the season with an admittedly weak quarterback group, but there were hopes having Davante Adams would ease some of the growing pains.

Now with Adams requesting a trade the Raiders best offensive weapon has become their rookie tight end Brock Bowers. You add that lack of weapons to an offense struggling at quarterback it's a rough situation not many people would want to be a part of. This then leads you to realize that's likely why Adams wants out.

The Raiders are now onto Week 6 when the 3-2 Pittsburgh Steelers will be making the trip to Allegiant Stadium. There is a chance the Raiders make a change at quarterback for the game, but an official announcement regarding that decision is yet to be made.
