In Week 5 of the NFL season the Raiders lost their eight game win streak over the Denver Broncos by a score 34-18 after the Raiders led 10-0 early in the game. Overall the Raiders 2024 season has been a roller coaster of emotions through only five weeks as they now sit at 2-3 overall.

Now, on top of their poor performance, they're a topic of conversation on every sports media outlet as their star wide receiver, Davante Adams, is seeking a trade. All of these narratives culminated in a passionate post-game interview with pass rusher Maxx Crosby after he was asked how he was handling the Adams ordeal. As shared to social media by Vic Tafur .

"It is what it is. You think I'm not used to this s*** going on? It is what it is I've been dealing with it my whole career." Said Crosby. "Davante's my boy, I love Davante, he's going to do what he's going to do. Pray for him, wish him the best he's not healthy right now he's got to get healthy. We're focused on the Raiders you know what I mean, we're focused on who's here now, we're focused on winning."

It's the answer you expect from a leader on a team that's dealing with a lot of outside noise. Crosby giving the head coach like answers of "we're focused on who's here" from Crosby's standpoint what do people expect him to say? Obviously the question has to be asked, but there's not going to be a loud response to warrant anymore unwanted attention towards the team.

According to new reports the Raiders are looking to have the deal done within the next two days. The two teams that continue to lead the Adams sweepstakes are the New York Jets with Aaron Rodgers, and the New Orleans Saints with Derek Carr. Both teams that Adams has said he would be willing to play for.

Now the waiting game continues as the Raiders wait to see who will match their asking price of at least a second-round draft pick for Adams.

All of this going on as the Raiders prepare for Week 6 of the season with the 3-2 Pittsburgh Steelers up next on the schedule.
