Patrick Mahomes’ Mother Makes Major Declaration

Patrick Mahomes was completely locked in ahead of the Kansas City Chiefs' Week 5 showdown against the New Orleans Saints in Arrowhead Stadium. At the same time, however, the reigning Super Bowl MVP still had his kids in mind before taking to the field -- something that Mahomes made abundantly clear as he sent a personal message to his daughter during his pre-game interview.

After talking about the upcoming matchup against the Saints, Mahomes decided to end his interview by reminding his daughter about her bedtime.

"I want to tell my daughter Sterling, hey," the Chiefs star said. "Hey, Sterling, go to bed."

This adorable moment drew all sorts of reactions from the fans on X, formerly Twitter. There was perhaps none better than that from Mahomes' own mother, Randi Mahomes, who made a major declaration about her son after seeing the above clip.

"Awe!!! I love this so much. He certainly is the best dad! I love my family #blessed @PatrickMahomes" Randi Mahomes wrote on X.

Grandma clearly loved that special shoutout for three-year-old Sterling Skye, who apparently, was already past her bedtime even before the "Monday Night Football" game started.

For her part, Randi Mahomes knows a thing or two about raising kids. Apart from having a three-time Super Bowl winner as a son, the 51-year-old also has two other kids, Jackson Mahomes and Mia Randall.

For Randi Mahomes, it is clear that one of the most important things in life is being the best parent one can be. She's done her best to live up to this notion in raising her own kids, and she's just delighted to see the level of dedication Patrick Mahomes has for his children.

The Super Bowl rings and All-Pro titles are all well and good but at the end of the day, what's even more important is for Patrick Mahomes to be the "best dad" out there -- a notion that Randi Mahomes' clearly believes in with this recent major declaration.
