J.J. Watt Taken Aback By Taylor Swift Fact During Chiefs-Saints Game

All eyes were at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium on Monday night as the Kansas City Chiefs took down the New Orleans Saints to mark their fifth win of the season. There was even more attention on the game because of the fact that Taylor Swift was in attendance after missing boyfriend Travis Kelce's last two contests.

So much so that even three-time NFL Defensive Player of the Year winner J.J. Watt was taken aback by one particular Taylor Swift fact during the game. The Houston Texans icon took to X, formerly Twitter, to hilariously recount a Swift-inspired moment with his wife, Kealia Watt, during the Monday night showdown.

“'Taylor Swift’s backup dancer’s brother Khalen Saunders just tackled her boyfriend Travis Kelce to stop him from scoring a touchdown," Watt wrote. "On the next play, he intercepted Patrick Mahomes in the end zone.'

"Did not anticipate explaining that to Kealia when she walked down the stairs."

For those that require context -- just like Watt's better half -- Saints defensive tackle Khalen Saunders has a brother, Kameron Saunders, who works as a backup dancer for Swift.

Now, Khalen Saunders pulled off a couple of big plays on Monday night when he tackled Swift's boyfriend, Chiefs tight end Kelce, followed by an end-zone interception on reigning Super Bowl MVP Mahomes.

It does get a bit complicated, but it doesn't really require a rocket scientist to explain the complexities of this situation. Nevertheless, it's no easy task shedding light on this matter right in the middle of a game.
