Less than one week after 2025 four-star shooting guard Courtland Muldrew made an official visit to Washington this past weekend the talented senior made his commitment to the Huskies and coach Danny Sprinkle official on Tuesday.

Muldrew, a 6-foot-3, 170-pound guard for Oak Hill Academy in Virginia, picked UW over offers from Creighton, LSU, Mississippi State and Ole Miss among others, though it appears his visit to the school on Oct. 4 made the difference.

Prior to his trip to Seattle this past weekend the No. 96 overall recruit in the 2025 class, per 247Sports, had not listed Washington among the schools he was publicly interested in during an interview with Zagsblog last month.

According to the report in late September, Muldrew was expected to visit Baton Rouge, La., this coming weekend for his final official visit, but it appears the Big Ten purple and gold of UW won out, a significant recruiting victory for Sprinkle and assistant coach DeMarlo Slocum, who the Springdale, Arkansas, native cited as the first coach from the staff to reach out earlier this year.

Muldrew is the first verbal commitment for UW in the 2025 class.
