Despite showing tremendous improvement compared to last season, Colorado's defense hasn't been at full strength for most of the season.

The Buffs have had players in and out of the lineup the past couple of weeks, with names like Chidozie Nwankwo and Dayon Hayes each missing some time. However, Colorado has consistently been without one of the team's leaders on the back end, as safety Shilo Sanders went down with an injury in the team's Week 2 loss to Nebraska and hasn't played since.

Something that his head coach and father, Deion Sanders, revealed will be changing this weekend as Colorado is set to host the No. 18 Kansas State Wildcats.

"Shilo is ready," Deion Sanders told the media Tuesday. "He's practicing, he's full go, has a rubber cast on, he's doing his thing. I can't wait to see him back there because he and Cam (Silmon-Craig) they are unbelievable together."

Sanders also revealed that the defense will be at full strength as they look to take down a Wildcats team that, according to FanDuel , has the third-best odds of winning the Big 12.

"We should have the entire starting defense this week," Sanders added.

The sixth-yer safety injured his forearm in the Sept. 7 loss to Nebraska, and actually needed surgery on his arm. In the two games he did play, Sanders recorded 11 total tackles.
