Thank God Eagles Have Jeffrey Lurie Owning Team

Dysfunction teams do what dysfunction teams do. When a situation turns south, the dysfunctional organizations tend to try and look outward for their solutions each and every time.

There's no plan. and no cohesive improvements to be made.

Philadelphia Eagle fans should thank their lucky stars that their organization isn't one of those dysfunctional teams. A clear example comes just up I-95 with the New York Jets.

New York fired head coach Robert Saleh Tuesday morning as a way to turn around their misfortune from a mediocre 2-3 start. Saleh, a defensive-minded coach, was fired due to the struggles of the offense overall.

Speaking of New York's offense, they have chosen to keep the coaches who have struggled to fix the current issues of the entire group. Doesn't exactly scream of a functionally run organization.

Philadelphia has certainly had its dysfunctional moments over the years, but Jeffrey Lurie has completely altered the organization's previous looks of a franchise similar to the Jets.

The legitimacy brought in by Lurie should force Eagle fans to understand how good they have it overall. Philadelphia has enjoyed an unprecedented amount of success under Lurie including the team's first Super Bowl title.

What's going on with the Jets and Woody Johnson should be further proof of that.
